Silver Needle White Tea
White tea is a highly sought-after, specialty tea. Only a handful of our family farms produce this tea owing to the limited availability of the planting material, quantity, and feasibility. The best grade of white tea is hand-plucked during the second flush, which coincides with the beginning of the Assamese New Year in mid-April. It is produced in small quantities, and made from freshly cultivated tea buds with silvery hairs. The picking process is very delicate and necessitates careful selection of the buds. It requires 2 kg of tea buds to produce ½ kg or less of white tea, making it exclusive, rare, and premium. Our family farms produce silver needle white tea. A single bud is used to make this white tea. The preparation method undergoes air drying in the shade or in a climate-controlled setting. It has a sweet, delicate mild floral taste and a pleasant and intoxicating grassy fragrance. White tea offers more antioxidants than other specialty teas since it is least processed, which helps you prevent chronic health conditions.
