The taste is similar to gooseberry. To experience the full flavour, let the tea leaves fully unfurl throughout the brewing process and drink it a little colder. At the time of harvesting, the leaves carry a tinge of a floral aroma. The leaves are relatively smaller in size and the colour of the dry leaves is forest green. The liquor is a pale yellow with a hint of green. While brewing, if you use the right amount of leaves, there will be no bitterness. Drink it plain if you want to get the most out of the flavour. After 5–10 minutes, you will experience a pleasant aftertaste of gooseberry.

Our Assam-style handmade green tea is a distinct form of green tea which is not found in Japan or China. It has a little more body than green teas grown in other parts of the world. A high-quality Assam handmade green tea is characterized by its twisted, whole-leaf tea with silver tips, light green to yellowish green liquid, rich in umami, a note of astringency, and a broad flavor profile with a bitter-sweet lingering aftertaste. The flavor profile of our green tea is region and artisan specific, ranging from fruity, flowery, vegetal, sweet, and earthy. Assam-style handmade green tea processing is weather dependent. Post harvesting, the tea leaves need to be withered, fixed, hand rolled, and dried under the special care and supervision of our tea artisans. Our family farms produce both steamed and pan-fried green tea. In Assam, this tea has grown immensely popular. It is appreciated and enjoyed by people due to its favorable characteristics and high content of antioxidants.
